Contrapelo to Pacquiao fever



It's good that Pacquiao won his fight

But it's a sad commentary on us Pilipinos

That we base our pride on a Pilipino boxer winning

Why not on a Pilipino rocket, a Pilipino vehicle or a Pilipino patrol boat

We did it before

And we have always the Pilipino Sipag, Tapang, Hospitality and Ingenuity



Anyone for making the Mountain Province rice terraces as our national symbol?

It's at par or perhaps even better than the Pyramids of Egypt or the
Great Wall of China

And no tyrant whipping the slaves to do it
